Body of a constable recovered from a jungle

Body of a old constable attached to the Weeraketiya police station was recovered from a jungle near Weeraketiya Youth Corps, said the Police Media Spokesperson.
The deceased has been identified as Hettiarachchige Premadasa, a father of three children. When the said Constable had not returned home since the 11th May, his family had lodged a complaint at the Weeraketiya Police.
The cause of the death has not yet been revealed and the police have begun investigations to determine if this was a suicide.
