An increase in the crimes conducted over the internet can be observed in Sri Lanka, says Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara.
Addressing a function in Kandy, he pointed out that these crimes are committed using mobile phones and computers.
The IGP also said that the Department of Police is paying attention to this matter closely.
