Two persons dead after party held in Wadduwa hotel

UPDATE (2.50 pm): A 31 year old person among the 4 seriously ill persons admitted to the Pandura hospital last night has died.

 

 


Two persons have died following admission to the Panadura hospital last night (04) due to a sudden illness.

 

Four people had been admitted to the Panadura hospital after a party held at a hotel in Wadduwa, according to the police.

 

The deceased are a 20 year old from Divulapitiya area and a 36 year old from Kesbewa area.

 

Cause of death has not been revealed yet and the port mortem will be conducted today (05) at Panadura hospital.

 

Wadduwa Police is conducting further research on the matter.
