Separatists proposals to be implemented through new Constitution - Prasanna

UPFA Parliamentarian Prasanna Ranatunga claims that “separatists” proposals could be implemented through the new Constitution.
Speaking to reporters following an event in Biyagama today (22), he said that certain groups are attempting to achieve through the new Constitution what they failed to achieve through terrorism.
He stated that the Joint Opposition will never support any such thing.
Ranatunga alleged that through the new Constitution, provincial councils will gain powers and through that they are attempting to fulfill the needs of the Tamil diaspora.
He stated that will only support something that will benefit the country.
