Traffic at Manning Market as ‘Nattamis’ report to work late

Laborers (Nattami) at Manning Market in Colombo reported to work late this morning (02) to protest an assault on another laborer.
Reportedly, this had resulted in a heavy traffic in the surrounding area.
An assault incident has occurred at the Manning Market last evening (01) as a shop owner had decked a laborer.
The laborers had reported to work past 7.30 am today based on that incident.
This had created a severe traffic congestion due to the many lorries transporting goods present in the area.
