The body of a woman who had died under suspicious circumstances has been discovered on Nelson Lane in Kollupitiya.
Police said that the deceased woman is a resident of the area and that the body has been kept at the same location, under police security, for the magistrate’s inquiry.
The postmortem examination is to be performed later today (4) while Kollupitiya Police is conducting further investigations.
