The Road Development Authority (RDA) requests motorists using the Southern Expressway to limit their speeds to 60 kmph due to prevailing adverse weather conditions.
Motorists are also requested to remain extra vigilant on the expressway during the rain in order to avoid vehicular accidents.
Several accidents have already been reported on the expressway today due to heavy rain.
