Electoral system should satisfy all communities – Bathiudeen

Changing the electoral system on the likes of several people can lead to issues in the future, says Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen.
Speaking to the reporters, he said that an electoral system which satisfies every community should be prepared.
Meanwhile, the term of office of the Central Provincial Council will end at midnight tomorrow (08).
The term of office of the North Western Provincial Council will end on the October 10 while the term of office of the Northern Provincial Council is due to expire on the 24th of this month.
Accordingly, by the end of the month, the elections of 6 Provincial Councils should to be held.
