Murder suspect shot at and hospitalized in Raddolugama

A person has been hospitalized after being shot at near the Raddolugama housing scheme in Ja-Ela, stated the Police Media Spokesman.
The shooting had occurred at around 9 pm today (07) when two unknown gunmen who arrived in a motorcycle had shot at a person who had been standing outside his car.
The hospitalized shooting victim is a 36 year old named Nilanga Maheshan from Gallawatte, Raddolugama and he is currently receiving treatment at the Ragama Hospital, stated the Police.
It has been the revealed that the person who got shot at had been bailed from remand for a murder which had occurred in Seeduwa Police Division 6 months ago.
Raddolugama Police is conducting investigations into the matter.
