Part of Chitra Lane in Kirula Road, Narahenpita has sunk in at around 5 am this morning (10), stated the police.
According to the police, a van travelling on the lane had also sunk in when the incident occurred.
This has disrupted the traffic flow in the area as well, said the Police.
Meanwhile, heavy traffic congestions are reported from Borella, Rajagiriya and Cotta Road due to inclement weather.
