Sixty-year old woman hacked to death on road

A woman has been hacked to death at around 5 pm this evening (14) in Rajamawatha-Kanuwana in Ja-Ela.
Police Media Spokesman say that the woman had been hacked to death by a sharp weapon when she was walking on the road.
Murder victim is a 60 year old named Indra Pauleen de Silva Wickrematilake residing on Rajamawatha area.
The body is currently still at the crime scene according to the police.
The murder suspect has not yet been revealed and Ja-Ela police is conducting investigations on the incident.
