Severed head of woman found near Bolgoda Bridge

A severed head of an unidentified woman has been found near the Bolgoda Bridge, stated Police Media Spokesperson’s Office.
On a call received through the police emergency line, the said head was found this morning (04) near the Bolgoda Bridge on Panadura-Ratnapura road.
The identity of the deceased woman or the cause of death has not been revealed yet, stated the police.
Police suspects that the deceased woman might be a foreigner.
Police says that police protection has been provided for the place until the magistrate’s inquest is conducted by the Panadura Magistrate.
Bandaragama police is conducting further investigations on the matter.
