‘Jana Mahimaya’ commences

UPDATE (4.15 pm): President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa have arrived together at the ‘Ratama Rakina Jana Mahimaya’ rally near Parliamentary roundabout. 

 

 

 

 


The rally ‘Jana Mahimaya’ held in support of the newly appointed government has commenced from near the Parliament roundabout.

 

The currently ongoing rally is participated by many political representatives as well as public from island-wide.

 

The rally held to show support to newly appointed Prime Minister and the government has been named ‘Ratama Rakina Jana Mahimaya’. 

 

The rally has been organized by the members of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA).

 

Reportedly, the rally will also be joined by President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
