Suspect nabbed with Kerala Cannabis worth Rs 23 mn

A person has been arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) in Kilinochchi while transporting Kerala Cannabis worth nearly Rs 23 million.
Reportedly the haul had contained 153 kg of Kerala Cannabis
The 32-year-old suspect was arrested at around 4.30 p.m. this evening (20), the Police Media Spokesperson stated.
The suspect is revealed to be a resident of Maradanagar area in Kilinochchi.
The STF officers of Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi camps have made the arrest in a joint mission near the residence of the suspect.
Rs 980,700 in cash has also been seized in possession of the suspect.
The suspect is to be handed over to the Kilinochchi police station.
