Close schools until security is ensured – Asgiriya Mahanayake Thero

The Chief Incumbent of the Asgiriya Chapter Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thero has requested the government to postpone the commencement of schools until the security of the country is ensured.
Accordingly, the Thero stated that measures should be taken to reopen all schools on the same day.
The Thero points out that there are various criticisms against the opening of schools under the prevailing situation in the country.
Sri Gnanarathana Thero mentioned this issuing a special statement to the media.
