Two accomplices of Zahran Hashmi arrested?

Two accomplices of Easter attacks ringleader Zahran Hashim and his cousin Mohamed Rilwaan have been arrested by the officers of the Vavunathivu camp of the Special Task Force (STF).

 

It has been revealed that in 2018, Zahran Hashim and Mohamed Rilwaan had injured themselves in an explosion during testing of bombs they had manufactured.

 

The two arrested had allegedly assisted Zahran and Rilwaan at that time, stated the STF.

 

The suspects have been handed over to the Kattankudy Police for further interrogation.
