Mohamed Aliyar, a close associate of the ringleader of the suicide bombings on Easter Sunday Zahran Hashmi, has been arrested, the police said.
It is reported that the suspect had carried out financial transactions with Hashim.
The arrest was made in Kattankudy today (09).
The suspect will be detained for interrogations, the police further said.
