
Unbeaten Australia booked a place in ICC Women’s World Cup final with a commanding 9 wicket win over Sri Lanka in their Super Six match on Sunday.
Rachael Haynes scored an unbeaten 71 to take Australia to their 8th World Cup final.
The five-time champions earlier produced an impressive bowling performance to bundle out Sri Lanka for a meagre 131 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai today.
Sent in to bat, Sri Lankan batting completely collapsed.
Having started at a disastrous note to be reeling at 41 for four, they eventually got all out in 45.2 overs.
