
Kumar Sangakkara scored his 31st Test century playing against Bangladesh at Galle International Stadium on Friday. Sri Lanka currently 237 for the loss of 2 wickets.
Resuming their innings on 132 runs after lunch, Sangakkara and Dimuth Karunaratne continued to score at a healthy rate. The partnership of 67 runs was broken by Sohag Gazi who removed the opener by trapping him LBW. Karunaratne scored 41 runs.
Lahiru Thirimanne joined Sangakkara and the duo steadied the innings and set up another unbeaten partnership of 66 runs at Tea.
