South Africa sets 116 run target for Sri Lanka

  Sri Lanka restricted South Africa to their lowest total of 115-6 in T20 internationals at R Premadasa Stadium on Friday.

Opting to bat first, spinner Sachithra Senanayake rocked the tourists by claiming the first three wickets to finish with three for 14.

It was Jean-Paul Duminy held the innings together with a battling knock of 51 off 52 balls stroking three boundaries and a six.

David Miller (25) shared a 56-run stand for the fifth wicket with Duminy who was out in the penultimate ball of the innings after reaching the milestone of 1,000 runs in T20 internationals.

Malinga claimed his 50th wicket in T20 internationals while Mathews and Mendis also got a wicket apiece.
