PM to answer parliamentarians questions today

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is scheduled to answer the oral questions of the Members of the Parliament today (05).

 

This is the first instance where Premier Rajapaksa will be taking on the questions directed towards the Prime Minister since he assumed the position.

 

Accordingly, the time period between 1 pm to 1.30 pm has been allocated for this.

 

Meanwhile, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya is due to announce the names of the members appointed to the Parliamentary Select Committees.

 

Additionally, Saman Ratnapriya is also set to be sworn in as a Member of Parliament today.
