Man nabbed with heroin and unidentified drugs

Sri Lanka Navy in coordination with the Sri Lanka Excise Department apprehended a drug dealer during a search conducted in the Mannar area.
The Navy, during a similar operation, yesterday (08) conducted with the assistance of the Chankanai Excise Department in Jaffna.
The search led to the arrest of a person with 122 mg of heroin and 499 g of other unidentified drugs intended for sale in his possession.
The accused has been identified as a 24-year-old resident in the Mannar area.
Chankanai Excise Department is conducting further investigation on the matter.
