
Two other centres have been converted into quarantine facilities for passengers arriving in Sri Lanka from countries hit by the COVID-19, says the Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe.
The Batticaloa Private University and Kandakadu Rehabilitation Centre have accordingly been set up as quarantine facilities for those who arrive in the island from Italy, South Korea and Iran.
These passengers will undergo mandatory 14-day quarantine at these two facilities.
Earlier this week, the Health Ministry announced that Leprosy Hospital in Hendala will be converted into a quarantine facility for those who arrive in the island from countries hit by the COVID-19.
