Derailment delays trains on Northern line

Train services on the Northern railway line may be delayed due to a train derailment, states the Department of Railways.
A train en route Anuradhapura had derailed between the Thambuttegama and Thalawa railway stations this morning (08).
A spokesman of the Department said that several compartments of the train had derailed in the incident.
However, measures have already been taken to get the train back on track, stated the Railway Department.
