Three youths arrested for using heroin

Jaffna Police have arrested three youths over the possession of narcotic drugs, yesterday (08).

 

The police had caught the 3 youths using heroin, based on a tip-off received by the police.

 

Reportedly, 440 milligrams of heroin were found in the possession of the suspects.

 

The arrestees are residents of the Nawanthurai area in Jaffna, aged 23, 24 and 25 years.

 

The suspects are to be produced before Jaffna Magistrate’s Court. Jaffna Police have launched further investigations into the matter.
