A suspect has been arrested while in possession of 3,228kg of Cannabis at Athimale in Monaragala.
The arrest was made during a raid conducted by the Special Task Force (STF) officers.
The haul stored in 189 sacks is estimated to be worth nearly Rs. 60 million.
The suspect, a resident from Embilipitiya area, is scheduled to be produced before the Siyambalanduwa Magistrate’s Court.
