The government has decided to reduce the maximum retail price of broiler chicken, stated the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA).
Accordingly, the price of skinless chicken has come down to Rs 430 per kilo, from its previous price of Rs 475.
The price for a kilo of chicken with skin has been reduced to Rs 530 from the previous Rs 600.
The price revision will be in effect from midnight today (11).
