A hartal campaign has been launched in Batticaloa Town this morning (12), stated Ada Derana reporter.
The hartal was organized to object the conversion of the Batticaloa Private Campus into a coronavirus quarantine facility.
Accordingly, all shops in the town had been closed in support of the protest.
The public urges the government not to bring foreigners to the quarantine facility in Batticaloa.
