An inmate of Anuradhapura Prison has been hospitalized this evening (14) on suspicion of coronavirus (Covid-19).
After being admitted to the Teaching Hospital in Anuradhapura, he was later transferred to the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) in Colombo.
He had arrived in the country from Azerbaijan in February and he was sentenced to prison yesterday over a motor vehicle case.
