
The meeting of Cabinet of Ministers, chaired by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, has convened this morning (25).
It was held at the Presidential Secretariat at around 10.00 am.
Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Bandula Gunawardane has stated that the meeting would be focused on the distribution of essential food items to the general public during curfew hours.
The Cabinet would also pay special attention to what relief can provide to the people at this critical juncture, the Cabinet Spokesperson has stated further.
In the meantime, taking into consideration the prevailing situation in the country, a program of delivery and sale of essential consumer goods such as food, medicine, gas, and other services to homes is set to be launched today (25).
