Only designated essential service workers will be allowed to travel on road by submitting their employee identification cards during curfew hours, says DIG Ajith Rohana.

He made these remarks speaking to Ada Derana this morning (28).

DIG Rohana emphasized that anyone without a valid curfew pass will not be allowed to travel on road.

Police bail will not be granted for those who are taken into custody over curfew violations and they will be produced before courts, he said further.
