
Former Sri Lankan Test player Chandika Hathurusinghe is likely to be appointed as head coach of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon indicated this regarding issue on Friday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
According to Nazmul Hasan Papon, the appointment of new head coach will be disclosed on May 19.
“We have already talked with several local and foreign former cricketers who are interested to be head coach of Bangladesh team. Our media is also focusing regularly on the issue. Finally two persons have been in limelight including Former Sri Lankan Test player Chandika Hathurusinghe. We will officially announce the one person’s name on May 19,” BCB President said. – Daily Sun
