In the third One-Day International played between England and Sri Lanka at Old Trafford, England have won the toss and elected to bowl in overcast conditions. The series at present is level 1-1. England won the first game but lost the second game by a huge margin of 156 runs.

England have some fine players like James Anderson, Ian Bell Alastair Cook and company. On the other hand, Sri Lanka too have some experienced hands like Mahle Jayawardene. Kumar Sangakkara, Angelo Mathews and company. It should be an interesting contest between two sides.

Chris Jordan and Gary Ballance performed well in the first match as England look to build on a new side. The Lankans on the other hand kept losing wickets in a stiff revised target after the rain interruption. Skipper Alastair Cook’s availability is a concern for the England camp as he picked up a groin injury in the first match. Alex Hales has been called in as cover for Cook and Eoin Morgan is likely to lead for England.
