Coronavirus: 16 more recoveries bring total to 213

Sixteen more patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered and have been discharged from hospital. 

 

This brings the total number of recoveries in the country to 213, the Ministry of Health confirmed. 

 

Nine new cases of Coronavirus had been reported so far today bringing the tally of confirmed cases reported in the country to 760.

 

The number of COVID-19 patients currently under medical care (active cases) is 538.

 

The death toll due to the virus in Sri Lanka reached 09, following the death of a 52-year-old patient at IDH Hospital today (05).
