Total hits 774 with three new COVID-19 cases

Three more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Sri Lanka, taking the cases tally to 774.

 

Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe confirmed that the three new coronavirus cases were identified as naval personnel.

 

Ministry of Health added that a total of 215 coronavirus patients have recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals.

 

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 550 active cases are currently under medical care at selected hospitals across the country.

 

Sri Lanka confirmed the 9th death due to the novel coronavirus on Tuesday (05).
