Behavior of some Colombo, Gampaha citizens disappointing – DIG Ajith Rohana

The behavior of some Colombo and Gampaha district citizens in the program of returning normalcy to civilian life is disappointing, says DIG Ajith Rohana.
He pointed out that some were acting in contravention of the recommendations issued to the public in the past several days.
The DIG expressed these views, joining the ‘Aluth Parlimethuwa’ political program on TV Derana.
Dr. Anuruddha Padeniya, President of the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) who also participated in the program, stated that a series of guidelines have been formulated to eradicate the COVID-19 Pandemic from the country.
DIG Ajith Rohana stated that a new set of laws will be put in place within the next few days in a measure to curb the epidemic.
