Wife clubs husband to death over family issue

A woman in the Andigama area in Periyamadu, Pallama has clubbed her husband to death, stated the Police.
Reportedly, a family issue that had escalated into a conflict had resulted in the assault.
The deceased is a 61-year-old man residing in the Andigama area.
The wife has been arrested over the murder, the Police said.
She will be produced before the Anamaduwa Magistrate’s Court.
Further investigations into the matter have been launched by the police.
