COVID-19: Confirmed cases tally hits 964 with four new patients

Four more individuals have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus as of 7.30 pm today (17), as Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 cases count increased to 964.
Two of these patients are returnees from London and the other two are naval personnel, the Health Ministry confirmed.
In the meantime, the number of patients who recovered from the virus has moved up to 538.
The Epidemiology Unit says that 417 active cases are currently under medical care at selected hospitals across the country.
The country’s death toll from COVID-19 currently stands at 09.
