Coronavirus recoveries from Navy move up to 221

Twelve more naval personnel who were confirmed to have contracted the COVID-19 have made complete recoveries from the virus, Sri Lanka Navy said in a statement.

 

They had been undergoing treatment at the Navy Hospital (07), Infectious Disease Hospital (04) and at the Welikanda Hospital (01).

 

These discharged navy men will be kept under quarantine for another 14 days in compliance with the healthcare regulations.

 

Accordingly, a total of 221 naval personnel has recovered from the disease so far.

 

Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry says that out of the 1,027 positive cases of coronavirus confirmed in Sri Lanka to date, 585 were detected from the Navy.
