COVID-19 recoveries in Sri Lanka reach 1,397

Ministry of Health confirms that 26 more persons who had tested positive for COVID-19 were discharged from respective hospitals as they have returned to health.

 

These patients had been receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital (09), Colombo East Base Hospital (01), Iranawila Hospital (01), Kattankudy Base Hospital (02), Homagama Base Hospital (04), Theldeniya Base Hospital (08) and Hambantota District General Hospital (01).

 

Coronavirus recoveries in Sri Lanka count thereby increased to 1,397.

 

In the meantime, COVID-19 patients count hit 1,915 on Tuesday (12) with 10 fresh positive cases.

 

This brings the active virus-positive cases under medical care to 507.

 

Sri Lanka has confirmed 11 deaths due to the COVID-19.
