Ranjith Kodituwakku has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer/General Manager (CEO/GM) of the People’s Bank.
His appointment follows the retirement of the Acting CEO/GM M. A. Boniface Silva.
The new appointment is with effect from 19th June 2020.
Ranjith Kodituwakku previously served as the Deputy General Manager (Commercial Banking and Digitalization) of the People’s Bank.
Kodituwakku has over 37 years of banking experience in a wide spectrum of areas covering Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Off-shore Banking, Branch Banking, International Banking, Project Financing, Recoveries, and Digitalization.
He poses extensive local and international training and exposure and has worked in different capacities at different geographical locations.
