  Pakistan look to have taken the first test against Sri Lanka as the two teams head in early for tea at a rainy Galle International Cricket Stadium.

 

Sri Lanka have been bowled out for 206 in their second innings and now lead by just 89 runs with Pakistan still to bat.

 

Sri Lanka were 132 for 3 when Wahab Riaz ended the stand between Lahiru Thirimanne and Dimuth Karunaratne before lunch. Angelo Mathews got a poor decision immediately after the break before the rest of the order collapsed.

 

Legspinner Yasir Shah, playing in just his eighth test, ended up taking seven wickets for 75 runs.

 

Karunaratne and Thirimanne were Sri Lanka's leading scorers with 79 and 44 respectively. - sportsmole
