With just hours to go before the opening Test between India and Sri Lanka kick off on Wednesday at the Galle International Stadium in Galle, both teams are preparing to go out with all guns blazing, especially India as they have not won a single Test series in the neighbouring island nation over the past 22 years.

The current Indian team, which is mostly filled with young guns are also inexperienced in terms of having played Test against Lanka. However, the most interesting fact that the squad posseses is the only four players to have played Test against Lanka, in the form ofAmit Mishra, Ishant Sharma, Murali Vijay and Harbhajan Singh. Aggressive India look to dominate Sri Lanka in Test series.

The man from Hyderabad has so far just played a couple of Tests against the neighbouring island nation and has come up with an average performance, claiming five wickets for 390 runs with an economy of 6.65 and an average of 249.75. No five wicket haul as thet first match he played was in Ahmedabad, where he claimed only a wicket in 2009, while the next game was in 2010 at Colombo, where he claimed four for 187, that was critically acclaimed.
