The inaugural One Day International (ODI) of three match series between host Sri Lanka and West Indies will be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Sri Lankan capital Colombo on Sunday.
Even without the services of star allrounders Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard, the West Indies team looks good enough to put up a fight.
The arrival of its limited-overs specialists Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Johnson Charles and Ravi Rampaul has boosted the sagging morale of the team. Although the visitors surrendered meekly to lose the two-Test series 2-0, they will be determined to fight back in the limited version of the game.
