The West Indies won the toss and elected to bat in the second one-day international against Sri Lanka in Colombo on Wednesday.

Sri Lanka took the 1-0 in the three-match series lead after winning first ODI by a narrow margin of just one wicket. Now both the teams face-off in the 2nd ODI with West Indies looking to stay alive in the series.

In a rain curtailed 1st ODI, after Andre Russell’s blazing 24-ball 41 West Indies set the home side a target of 160 runs from 26 overs. Sri Lanka got off to a decent start with openers Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kusal Perera stitching 46 inside five overs for the opening wicket.

However, against the run of play Sri Lanka floundered against spinner Sunil Narine and that left the tail with a job to do. Also Check- West Indies in Sri Lanka, 2015 Full Coverage
