Sri Lankan blind team to visit Pakistan

Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) chairman Syed Sultan Shah has confirmed that the Sri Lankan Cricket Association of the Visually Handicapped (SLCAVH) has accepted their invitation to tour Pakistan from March 10 next year. 

 

Sultan said the proposed series would comprise three T20 Internationals and as many One-day Internationals. 

 

The T20s would be held in Faisalabad and ODIs in Lahore. Sri Lankan team last toured Pakistan in 2008 and now they have very kindly agreed to tour Pakistan again after a long gap. 

 

“The series will not only provide entertainment to both sides, but also give masses a chance to witness players with abilities to perform in front of their home crowd. It will also help in reviving international sports in Pakistan. We will start training camp soon.”
