Thilanga Sumathipala new SLC chairman

  Deputy Speaker Thilanga Sumathipala has been elected as the President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) with 88 votes.

 

Meanwhile, Jayantha Dharmadasa has been elected as the Vice President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) with 102 votes. Dharmadasa headed the SLC interim committee from 2005–2007 and also served as the President of the cricket board from 2013-2015. 

 


Meanwhile, K. Mathivanan who obtained 90 votes has also been elected as Vice President. 

 


Minister Arjuna Ranatunga only got 80 votes.

 


Meanwhile, Mmohan de Silva has been appointed as the new Secretary of the SLC.
