Minuwangoda Covid-19 cluster confirms 103 more cases

Covid-19 patients reported from the Minuwangoda cluster shot up today (10) with 103 fresh cases.

 

Two workers of the Minuwangoda apparel factory and 101 close contacts of factory workers have tested positive for the virus.

 

This increases the total positive cases from the Minuwangoda Covid-19 cluster to 1,186.

 

Thereby, total Covid1-9 infections confirmed so far in Sri Lanka soared to at 4,626.

 

Recoveries reported from the disease now stand at 3,306 earlier today (10) as 10 patients were discharged from hospitals after returning to health.

 

The count of acting cases currently under medical care meanwhile reached 1,307.
