
Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi won the toss and elected to bowl first in their Asia Cup Twenty20 tournament match against Sri Lanka at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Friday.
The match, the last in the league phase, has become a routine affair as both teams have been eliminated before the final.
Pakistan left out Khurram Manzoor, Mohammad Sami and Anwar Ali to include Mohammad Nawaz, Wahab Riaz and Iftikhar Ahmed in their three changes from Wednesday’s five-wicket loss to Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka brought in Niroshan Dickwella for Angelo Mathews, who is suffering from a calf injury.
Dinesh Chandimal is leading the side as their third captain in the tournament.
