Seven employees of Colpetty Brandix down with COVID-19

Several employees of the Colpetty facility of Brandix Apparel Limited have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.

 

Epidemiologist Dinuka Guruge of the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) confirmed that 07 employees of the facility have been identified in this manner.

 

All detected patients are residents of Colombo District, she added.

 

Health authorities have identified that they are contacts of the Minuwangoda facility of the apparel factory.

 

They had been under self-quarantine after being established as contacts of the Minuwangoda employees.
